Ken Ziegler Joins STEP as Strategic Partner

Saskatchewan Trade and Export Partnership (STEP) President Dale Botting announced a new program aimed at providing Saskatchewan exporters with even greater resources when doing business abroad on January 11, 2007. Botting says the In-market Strategic Partner Program will identify companies and or individuals who have agreed to serve as representatives of STEP in foreign countries as well as a resource for STEP members.

“Think of it as an ambassador program, but more focused on results for STEP members,” said Botting.  These companies and individuals are either formerly from Saskatchewan or have strong connections to our province.  They will provide an impressive network of contacts and expertise for our members doing business abroad.  They will be able to provide everything from temporary office space for our members to in-market consultation.”

Ken Ziegler was announced as one of the first two In-market Strategic Partners.

STEP is a non-profit, membership driven, government/industry partnership, designed to promote the growth of Saskatchewan ‘s export industry.  STEP assists provincial businesses realize global marketing opportunities through specially tailored services and programs.  STEP pursues growth in existing foreign markets and opens doors to new ones.
