Kurt Dahl will be a guest lecturer at the University of Alberta, College of Law on March 31, 2009. Kurt will present to Dr. Cam Hutchison’s class, Musicians and the Law, on the topic of how musicians and record labels will continue to make money in a digital world.

Kurt has spent 10 years being heavily involved in the local music industry, as a musician and on the Board of Directors for SaskMusic. He also spent the last year and a half researching the music industry and how digital file sharing is overhauling the traditional model. His studies involved interviews with key industry players across North America, as well as a term spent at the University of Ottawa in their Law & Technology division.
