Pereira and Sinclair are Benchmark Litigation Future Stars

Benchmark Canada is about to release its 6th edition of Benchmark Canada, the Guide to Canada’s Leading Litigation Firms and Attorneys.  Benchmark recognizes “up-and-coming legal practitioners who produce the highest quality of work in their respective fields of litigation”.  This award is called “Future Star” and has been awarded to both Jennifer Pereira and Sean Sinclair.

Robertson Stromberg is pleased to announce that Tim Hawryluk is among those being honoured with the Queen’s Counsel designation for contributions to the legal profession and public service.

Don Morgan, Saskatchewan Attorney General and Minister of Justice named the seventeen recipients on December 18.   “These individuals have shown exceptional merit and contribution to the legal profession and to our communities.  We’re honoured to recognize their hard work by appointing them as Queen’s Counsel.”  Besides Minister Morgan, the Queen’s Counsel selection committee includes the chief justice of the Saskatchewan Court of Appeal or Court of Queen’s Bench and the past presidents of the Saskatchewan branch of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of Saskatchewan.

Jared Epp Contributes three Courses to CSC Saskatoon

Jared Epp continues to share his time and expertise with the local construction industry.  He recently taught three courses that are part of the Construction Contract Administrator program offered by the Saskatoon chapter of Constructions Specifications Canada. Contract administration involves making decisions that enable completion of the project as required by the contract documents including review and observation of the construction project.

Jared Epp Teaches Construction 101

The Saskatoon Construction Association is a non-profit organization with a mandate to provide tendering, education and networking opportunities to over 630 members active in the commercial construction industry in Saskatchewan.  As part of their education program, Jared Epp recently taught Construction 101, a course designed to provide the tools and techniques needed to prepare for the Project Management Exam and improve overall project success.

Darlene Wingerak is now President of the Saskatoon Estate Planning Council (SEPC).  The SEPC includes Accountants, Lawyers, Life Underwriters, Financial Planners, Planned Giving Officers from local charities, and other professionals working in the estate planning field.  Collaboratively they work to provide the best and current information on:  benefits from tax planning for investment income, meeting personal and financial goals when estates are dispersed, and reducing the tax impact of death on family, business partners and heirs.
