Tiffany Paulsen honoured with Lexpert Zenith Award

Tiffany Paulsen has won a 2016 Lexpert® Zenith Award.  This award honours individuals and organizations for excellence in their careers and service to their practice areas, community, profession, law firms, and businesses in the field of Diversity and Inclusion.

Tiffany’s work to promote women’s participation in politics and the law was outlined in the winners’ booklet available at a Gala held in Toronto, June 21st, 2016.  Among her extensive list of accomplishments, Tiffany was recognized as being  “a strong advocate for balance between the practice of law and family priorities, making Robertson Stromberg a more inclusive and diverse employer”.

Five Litigators Recognized by Benchmark Canada

 

 

Benchmark Canada’s 2016 Awards are the culmination of a four-month research period where researchers conduct extensive interviews with litigators and their clients. During these interviews recent casework handled by the firms is examined and sources are asked to offer their professional opinions on litigators practicing within their province or practice area(s) across the country.

Robertson Stromberg is proud to announce the following five Litigators have been recognized by Benchmark Canada  2016 Awards:

M. Kim Anderson, QC is ranked a “Litigation Star” in the practice area of Insolvency.

Bill Preston, QC is a “Litigation Star” in the areas of Construction and General Commercial.

Gary Young, QC is a “Litigation Star” in the areas of Class Action, General Commercial, Insurance, and Intellectual Property

Benchmark Canada also recognizes “up-and-coming legal practitioners who produce the highest quality of work in their respective fields of litigation”.  This award is called “Future Star” and has been awarded to both Jennifer Pereira and Sean Sinclair.

Alexandre presents at SK Construction Assoc. Summer Meeting

Misty Alexandre presented “Recent Trends in Construction Law” at the Annual Summer Meeting of the Saskatchewan Construction Association.  She discussed recent construction related case law involving dispute resolution, bidding and tendering, contract interpretation and builders’ lien issues at the Annual Summer Meeting held at Elkridge Resort on June 2 – 4, 2016.
